Today the KID says:
If it doesn’t make the world better, don’t do it.
Again, Kid President and his advisors have a lot more to say on the topic, but you’re going to have to buy the book to get all his ideas. Here are just a few of mine on the issue:
- Trying to always make the choice to do the thing that makes the world better doesn’t mean you’re always going to make the choice that brings you joy.
- If you work to try to always make the choice to do the thing that makes the world better, your world will be better.
- If your world is better, you’ll be better.
I realize there are lots of arguments to say that each decision we make every day is more complicated than to just throw the aforementioned phrase at it, but we can certainly put our hearts in the right place and do our best.
What ways did you try to make choices to do the things that made the world a better place today?
Can’t think of any?
Then what will you do tomorrow?
Put a Post-It on your bathroom mirror to remind yourself to make the choice to try.
Make this as beautiful world on the inside as it is on the outside.
