Scent is… senses

When you lose all sense of self

Today, I had the most delightful yin yoga class at a studio called Yogavibez in Edgewater, MD. It was a rainy and overcast day but the studio was warm and the people were kind.  During final savasana, the instructor, Kate, used doTerra essential oil in lavender.  Being present in that moment – present in ALL the senses – created something like a touchpoint for me for the rest of the day.  Each time I encountered a stressful, weary, pressing moment throughout the rest of the day, I opened my own lavender essential oil and was immediately at ease recalling my savasana from earlier.
